Its a great program, using it on my upcoming project. I think you only need 1 copy.

SInce I haven't installed it yet I have no idea to the answer of this question. Could this create two seperate posting areas? Like a top table of weekly thumbs and daily thumbs in a table under. Is this quite feasable?

Seemed like a good program but since the author dissapeared I would say I wouldnt touch it now. even tho I was infact one of the first people to purchase a license with it $100 infact. in anycase I prefer AutoGallery PRO SQL you cant go wrong and its easy to setup.

but again just my opinion take it or leave it. I dont really give a flying fuck

I agree in that. Autogallery Pro, specially the new 3.0 beta version is for sure one of the best scripts for small money. The price for one pro license is $55, any additional domain is $29,95.

Pro have nearly all the features from the more expensive SQL version except the clicktracking. SQL is able to track the clicks to every thumb, rebuilds your site with the most clicked thumbs at the top to increase the CTR.

I didnt get my script to work.

It dosnt upload the thumbs from the submit page but it does upload the from the admin area.

Bought it in November and shredded the code into a custom monster. Been making bling off it ever since. Great script IMHO. ICQ me for help/tips and I'll try and help anyone getting up & going.

My thumb upload works now.
I talked to the programmer and he fixed it and said it was a bug.
I have send him this thread now so maby he will make a patch for this.

The upload bug appearead a while ago. It isn't so much a bug as it is a complete oversight. Everyone was using the crop - so while further improving cropping, the upload got disrupted.

The crop feature fails to work as well. Just causes blank page when "submit" is hit from the submission page.

I dont use the crop, most have the thumb size already. if they dont they can make it.

Its just a hasstle to manually make a thumb for 30 submissions a day myself when they already submitted theirs and it didnt upload.

Is there patch code to fix it?

I just found the updates for it. Redownload the script zip and upload /aptgp/webm_submit.php

agreed. My only complaint is documentation is a bit one sided. Only really shows you examples of how thumbthumb.com has their listings set up. I am not even sure if I have everythign set up right to show only thumbs in mixed categories in no particular order except which were approved last.
