    Gooood morning GFY

    It is 12:03 AM PST. I am taking a break and drinking coffee. I reported last night that my car broke down and I suspected that the timing belt broke. Well...I learned yesterday that my car has a timing chain...not a belt. Also it quit running because I had hit a pocket of water going to fast and it got water into the distributer. Between the tow...the repair shop and a taxi almost $200.00 for flooding out the engine. The mechanic said it is a prevelant problem in this area. It has rained every day that I have been here.

    When break is over I will go back to doing some boring...boring work and that is approving links. I have several thousand go through at this point so I will be at this for a long time. I hate it but it keeps me occupied.

                                  Well...clueless...I am quite satisfied with the car that I have. I bought it new in '88...it has 77,000 miles on it...and is pretty much like new inside and out...runs great...makes reasonable gas milage...27-28 miles to the gallon...and I expect to put around 200,000 miles on it...thus...in my opinion (which is the only one that counts)...I have a decent car...thank you very much.
