    Gonna explain to my friends that I do porn on new years.

    Going to a hall with a few of my closest friends on new years and I decided I'll break to them that I do porn. I have to cause ppl are just too confused about where all my money comes from. It's as if I dont work and spend twice as much as any of them.

    Hope they take it pretty well. Ppl dont react good when they find out how much you make...

                                              It depends on how old you are and what your friends and family do. If you're an 18 year old kid, most of your friends might think it's "cool." But I'm 47 years old. I own a mortgage company and I'm fairly well known in the community.

                                                                                  Cause the money was never "that" good nor was it stable. I didnt wanna explain what I do and then stop within the next 3 months.

                                                                                              I´m a lawyer and worked for several clients in the biz. Someday a client offered me to promote his site. Three month later I decided to quit my job as a lawyer and went into the biz fulltime.

                                                                                              i was in the same situation as you are now. I decided to tell them because I think I haven´t something to hide.

                                                                                              Now I have a lot of new friends and many old are gone. But who cares?

Like a person in Nebraska would probably less like to tell people he/she is in porn compared to someone from New York.

                                                                                                              I have never really kept that I work in the adult industry a secret. I don't let a new girlfriend know right away, but eventually I tell them or they find out. If there is somebody I don't want to know, I just tell them I have a business on the internet. If they ask further, I tell them it's in the entertainment business and has to do with photography and/or movies.

Just out of curiosity, what do guys think of female webmasters? There is always a double standard. Some guys think that I'm easy just because I sell porn on-line, even though I'm NOT a model, never have and never will, I just sit behind a pc all day.

Guys are getting very VERY picky these days. They want a girl who's super hot and built like a model, but she has to be going to graduate school and studying to be a pharmacist or dentist or something similar, and trust me, there are a LOT of girls like that out there these days. Their reaction to me is : "Doesn't she work or go to college?" "She just sits at home and sells porn all day? What a loser, I thought she had a REAL job at least."

A lot of men don't want to date someone who sells porn, they want the model type who's going to school to be a pharmacist or dentist. Some guys don't want to have a SERIOUS relationship with someone who sells porn, they will go out, but they don't think it's a very ambitious profession, like studying to be a doctor or lawyer.
