      The holiday inn right on st-denis (not too far from ste-catherine corner) is a good place to stay if you plan to party .

      There is Aria just next door and a lot of bars (st sulpice etc) on ste-chaterine . Just be warned that 25 % of the girls in thoses clubs are whores

                          The Four Points and Omni are both in the McGill ghetto (not a real ghetto, just swarms of university students). They're decent hotels but nothing special.

                          I don't know your budget but here are a few better hotels:
                          Hotel St. James
                          Hotel Germain
                          Hotel Nelligan
                          Queen Elizabeth
                          Sofitel
                          Intercontinental

                                          Bars, restaurant, ACTION.

                                          Pool and bar on the roof.... Parking in the hotel.
