    "Paycheck" critique.

    Overall the movie was good.

    But Ben Affleck is shit. This is what John Woo tried and failed.

    1) James Bond Haircut - Just looks 20's on Ben.

    2) Bruce Willis from Die Hard - There is an explosion and Ben jumps as if he was Bruce Willis. Pathetic.

    3) Arnold - Ben uses a machine gun and at least 10 ppl were laughing in the movie theatre LOL!

    4) Steven Segal - He does this type of home made bomb thing which is a strictly Segal thing.

    But the movie is really good. Thought it would be shit but highly recommend it.

          A lot of the same special effects are used and its kinda the same concept but they are not very alike. You can tell its the same director or author.

                  Wouldn?t it have been easier if he had just left a video tape of him self saying what he did so he wouldn?t have to go though all that shit that he did with the 8 clues

                      It's hard to take Ben seriously as a tough guy. It was even hard to take him seriously as a semi-tough guy in Sum Of All Fears.

                          It's a good movie, I'd definetley recommend it.

                          Steve90: He couldn't send a tape because it wouldn't get through security. He sent normal, everyday objects so it wouldn't look suspicious. Then again, he could have written himself an encoded note or something, lol.

                              I just saw it tonight, and thought it was a bit too cheesy for me.

                              John Woo just doesnt do it for meI guess.

                              Go see Last Samari or even Cold Mountain.

                              Paycheck is a great movie to sneak in afterwards for free after you watch the other two but not worth the eight to nine bucks in itself.

                                                  Paycheck was Mission Impossible meets Minority Report in a by the hour motel room.

                                                  I got the feeling they made a plot twisting movie that was meant to be so simple even trailer trash could follow the twists. For the rest of us, we call that predictable (get the Minority Report Pun?).
