    my new iPod rules

20 gig size, it's got all my napster stuff in it, plus my emusic stuff on it (before emusic went foul) for a total of 2799 songs...and it's only 1/2 full.

I love my iPod, going to be a year in February, planning an anniversary jaunt down to Florida to celebrate.

        Take Luck!

Stupid question, but can you hook up an ipod to your car stereo system, or audi system at home? Or is it just a walkman where you wear headphones. Sorry but I just have no clue.

you have to buy an fm modulator... or it can be hard-wired for better sounds quality

i bought an archos product two years ago and it never worked...and when i called tech service, they laughed and said the product should never have been released, and "in a very short time" there'd be a software update on the site to remedy the situation...I gave up after a month or two of no updates and swore i'd never buy archos again...

I heard archos tech support is horrible. in fact, I think I'll give them a call and pretend to have a problem to see what they say

Is it true that you can run an OS on it, and plug your monitor & peripherals into it. I think you need some sort of "kit" for it, but apparently it can be done?
if you're using mac, you can boot from the ipod, just like any other firewire disk. no idea about windows though.
