    Read this in The wall st journal today Fridays edition

    Higher prices for oil and gas led to another record quarter at Exxon Mobil Corp., the world's largest publicly traded oil company, with profits jumping a record 39 percent from a year ago.

    Exxon Mobil said Thursday it earned $5.79 billion.

    IF this doesnt piss you off enough to vote I dont know what will.

                  You'd be surprised what kind of cars they already have developed, that were developed and tested 30 years ago that don't even use fossil fuel. Of course, when the oil companies make billions of dollars of year, they have a lot of clout with the right people.

                              Ok, but if they were actually profitable it doesn't matter. There are enough Bill Gates and KRLs out there who would be eager to stick it to the oil companies for a billion dollars.

                                          Yeh and that's peanuts compared to what the Saudi's are banking right now with oil approaching $44 a barrel.

                                          Their daily production is about 9 million barrels. That's about $400 Million per day which is $12 Billion per month.
