I can't understand why so many people are so shocked if gallery traffic does better than 1:500. I have several sponsers in the 1:300 range and I have my best sponser around 1:60 consistantly. It's all gallery traffic with the built up SE traffic as an added plus. I post on general TGP's with high traffic, yet I have amazing ratios.
The key to successful submitting is learning what the surfers like, testing templates until you find the perfect layout and learning where to place your sponser links. It's also a mix of text to make them horny, and some text to talk to their hard dick about joining at a great price (and other incentives when joining). If you think gallery traffic sucks, you're missing out. It's definitly a traffic source that has been tainted over the years, but if you analyze your traffic enough and factor in the other variables, it's not hard making a killing in that aspect of the biz.
