I rebooted, deleted temp files, history, cookies and everything...still cannot view the news clip. All I see is that fucking gay ass music video from "Rick Roll". Anyone else have a different link to the news clip?
A client of mine has two. The old one with a tumor that can?t be removed anymore still tries to jump on my lap. The younger one comes over and says hi.
Funny you should mention our long-eared friends... I spent the day volunteering at the Basset Recue Ranch in Acton, CA (near L.A.) Today's job was to take pics of all the bassets up for adoption (over 40 of them need homes, with more arriving) and I am still cleaning the slobber off of my lens.
This is Cleo, one of the sweeter pups at the ranch.

I am a basset lover from waaaay back. When I was 6, my parents bought a basset named Red, and I loved that dog more than anything. They gave her away about 1 1/2 years later. I cried like mad.
Fast Forward to 1999. I buy a house with my webmaster riches. The first addition to the house is a basset pup. She died 5 weeks later from a heart ailment. It turns out I got her from a notorious evil backyard breeder (they all know her at the ranch, and even have one of my pups brothers looking for a home, looks just like her.)
Bassets are on of the most commonly abandon breeds. People give many reasons ("It's just too much for me!" -- At which point I think, "Yeah, all that sleeping can be a drain,") but I think that it has more to do with their incredibly large piles of poop.
Anyway, I've in an apt. now, no dogs allowed, so I go to the ranch where all them homeless hounds are happy to see me.
