World Idol aired here last night.

My god most of these singers are BAD!!!!
But they weren't the worst:

that a-hole Simon Cowell, oh my god, these music execs are all the same, we had the same type of sleazy, big headed, "shirt open so you can see my chest hair" music executive judge here in Belgium. These are truely the people that fuck up the music industry, not mp3, they make artist, who first have an album and no fans (no wonder they have to put in so much money for promotion), didn't you have to built your fanbase for years and then maybe have a hit.

Okay who should win this thing.

My vote is for the hobbit from Norway, ugly as hell, but the guy can sing.

the American girl was just another R&B babe, hate R&B, like the old style Rhythm and Blues (Aretha, ...), they were great, but those r&b divas nowadays just sound like bad 80's pop, it's so flat, just watch it on your equalizer the tones hardly move, rock and basically any other music makes the lines move, r&b doesn't it's like a softdrink without any carbonite.

I think the Norwegian was the best by far. Can anyone tell me how this contest is to be judged fairly by a telephone poll given that there are such enormous differences in audience numbers per country? Are the votes averaged out in relation to the viewers or what?

u can't vote for your country... not 100% fair though does smooth the bias out a bit.

The lines don't move cos R & B is centered from the soul.All else maybe moving at 100 miles per hr but the beat is motionless.

Guy, Kurt and Kelly have great voices. But I think Guy should win because he's the best entertainer of the three. The other "idols" ranged from merely competent to absolutely pathetic. I expected a much higher overall standard.

Norwegian singer was the best. If I could vote for Kelly I would, but since I can't I actuall voted for the Norwegian. I am also wondering why so many people like Guy? Is it just because he has the support of all the Aussies. I didn't think he was that great.

I didn't like Will Young, his singing was rather bland. I don't want to be mean but he has an overbite and messed up teeth, and he looks a bit funny. I know it's singing contest, not a modelling one, but image does count if you want to be a popstar. As for the Norwegian, one of the judges said he "looked like a hobbit" but he still looked cool singing U2's Beautiful Day, he rocked!

Guy had it in the bag until the Kurt came along, he or guy will win. Throughout the whole Ausie idol Guy same a range of amazing songs that he reworked himself, and his voice as one of our judges said is "sent from heaven"

My first choice would be the Norwegian.

My second vote would go to the Australian.

I thought the judges were cruel to tht norwegian man. He was far from ugly and who cares if he is anyway. I was just flipping through my CD collection and alot of them are not good looking.

watch it, yes, while I'm working, the TV is always on when I'm on my computer + I managed not to see any ad, 'cause I would change to MTV, MCM, ... Would never buy an album those guys made, unless they changed to rock and then they would have a long way to go, to make me a fan and make me buy their album.

Just saw a trailer and the judges were brutal and that seemed funny and you know: ot was

Those comments to Kurt, that he looked like a 'hobbit' .. and that that he was 'ugly' .. or whatever were just so cruel - i'm sure it took a lot of courage for him to go on there.. so i was pissed when i saw them being unnecessarily cruel.

i want guy to win because i think he was the most talented, but if Kurt wins.. i will be equally as happy.

Will Smith has a good voice. The problem is that they make him do shit songs. Light my fire was from when he was on pop idol and simon made him record it..it was CRAP. However, his new album where he writes his own stuff is decent for that kind of stuff. I heard him do some swing type tunes and it fit his voice very well.
