im surprised skimming actually works. it annoys the hell out of me and as soon as i see im not being directed to the gallery i wanted, the window gets closed. i don't imagine they are sending productive traffic for the most part.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

my guess is that *IF* there are more text based tgps that are no skim because of SE traffic. however i never really noticed that there were more text based non skim tgps than thumbnailed ones.

depends on the trade....if you stick with similar sites (for ex thumb tgp to thumb tgp) you can keep the momentum of the trade going many clicks deep.Originally posted by BlackCrayon

IMHO, trades will often will make strange bedfellows, some are productive and some arent....just depends on the match of the sites (content/design etc).... skimming is however necessary if you want to grow your traffics reach.Comment

Correct, Worldsex has no misleading links to trades. My point was they still send traffic out to receive traffic in. Worldsex gets tons of traffic from Elephantlist, Sleazydream, and a whole world of other sites. Thehun doesnt skim traffic out at all.Originally posted by progex

approx 2000 combined (i'm counting front page uniques only)
but the tgps are only about 90 days old, and traffic IS building, just building too slow (all traffic is coming from recips)
