Funny you should mention our long-eared friends... I spent the day volunteering at the
Basset Recue Ranch in Acton, CA (near L.A.) Today's job was to take pics of all the bassets up for adoption (over 40 of them need homes, with more arriving) and I am still cleaning the slobber off of my lens.
This is Cleo, one of the sweeter pups at the ranch.
