CAN-SPAM LAW - Will it work?

Everyone is saying it won't work, some people even say it will make spamming easier. I think the law will protect the people who have money to spam "legally", the regular person (small biz) won't be able to keep up with the expenses.
Why search Google when you can search Thongle?

its not fucking up anything.... its holding people respondsible for thier actions and the emails that they send out.

i dunno what the great expense is, you have to NOT use proxies? you have to list REAL whois info? this shit is not expensive in the least.

considering the fuck that started this thread probably isnt within any stipulations of this upcoming law. charging 2k+ a month for servers overseas, trying by any means necessary to avoid responsiblity for your actions. grow a spine.

all you have to do is remove people that want off your email list. why is that so expensive and difficult to get done?

wrong, those who cannot afford the expenses at the moment, are the ones that never reach your a normal inbox. Mailing with proxies is gonna become way more expensive than mailing directly. Mailing cost will drop and volume will go multiple times up. Mark my words.

Hmm, that is gonna get interesting. I think inbox filters are about to get stronger. The new stuff AOL, Yahoo and M$ have planned is pretty kickass. But I think I will still put my money on Lightspeed and Sergey in that battle.
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

                Webair, bitches.

im not well versed in how spamming works but dont you have to use proxies? im sure no matter how great your list is if you are using it for more than a newsletter most ISPs would shut you down just for sending out that kind of volume.

I'm guessing you haven't read the law yet, right? That isn't all you have to do, lol. Maybe you will consider reading the law.
