Ok I think shit is getting alittle out of fucking control!!!!

Did anyone else spend the better part of christmas day trying to untwist thes grey fucking twisties on every mother fucking toy made!!!!!

Jesus these things are secured better then most banks!!!
It takes fucking wirecutters or a hell of alot of twisting to get the damn toys out!!!

It is 10:23 here in Wa st and my 6 and 7 yr old are just starting to play with some there toys!! i mean some this stuff is like 4 ft long and heavy and has like 87 twisties!!!
Like a 6 yr old is gonna shove it down his pants and walk out with it!!! ITS BIGGER THEN HIM!!!!

Think it is now more to reduce moeny lost from toys being opened and played with in the store, then being retuned to the manuafacturer. Regardless, there are too many of them - half the time you break the damn toy you are trying to get out.

The ties are enough to throw you over the edge, but when they screw the damn toys into the box. That's enough for me. My sons had one present that had 4 trucks in one package, each one was screwed in as well as those damn twisties around each wheel. Getting ridiculous.

Yes. I think these factory workers deliberately overtighten them to fuck with us.

I can't stand the sticky taype security wrappers on DVD's either.

Lucky for me my youngest is "odd". She likes keeping a lot of her things in the box, unopened. She still had a lot of last years gifts unopened. We bought her a "dream kitchen" one of those huge pretend kitchens with counters, sinks, stove, fridge, pull out table et. a couple years ago. It's still in the box and she promises to have me open it "pretty soon".

I was going nuts with these all day yestarday as well. you can't get too rough with the twisties, because then you'll break the fucking toy! why don't they just build the toys out of the twisties, and throw it in a box?

The other thing I hate is the 50-micron molded blister packaging. there's no way in other than cutting it, and you always either cut yourself on the edge of the plastic or come close to cutting the toy.

Hell yes! And fuck yes to those goddamned blister packages! Holy fucking lord. I spent like 10 minutes trying to get a goddamned compactflash card out of one in the parking lot that I needed RIGHT NOW for my camera. If you don't have a knife you are totally fucked. Ended up making a hole JUST large enough w/ my car keys to barely pull the fucker out. Lord help me if it was something large.

My youngest niece is still into Barbies and Brats and yes they have those damn twisties every fucking where.

The worst one was the brat on the motorcycle....they actually ran the twisties up inside his pant leg...I swear I spent half an hour getting that whole package undone and then trying to get the battery compartment open.

those blister packages are dangerous. I've cut myself a number of times trying top open them...even with scissors...they have all those little sharp corners etc...last year *wasn't christmas* my sister was trying to get something open for her kid and we ended up spending 2 hours in the emergency room so she could get stitches because of a blister pack.
