epassporte, signed up a week ago, then 1 week later....

account frozen becuase of fraudlulent activity?

I signed up a week ago, thinking.....

Hey, I see more and more companies using epassporte as an alternative to paypal, becuase of obviuos reasons (paypal dont like adult).

Now one week later, I get an email saying....

account frozen becuase of fraudlulent activity.

Im saying......

What the fuck? I just signed up, and ive not even used it?

Seems, the very first payment came from an affiliate program, they say.....

"obtained the money from fruad"

Now my account is frozen,

they want.......

photocopy of credit card,
photocopy of drivers liscense,

and either fax it or mail it to unfreeze the account.

The guy on phone was pretty cocky and sounded pissed at me.

Now, Im trying to be patient with the whole thing, but, maybe its not even worth it? There arent many affiliate programs using them anyways to concerned about having to go through that much trouble to have the account.

Anyone else have this happen to you?

I was actually afraid that something like this was going to happen.

I still use PayPal.

I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,

Well, at least they didnt freeze up the account when i had more in there.

I wonder if theres nothing wrong with damcash, and there wasnt any fraud connected to there account, who keeps the money that was sent and my $50 to open the account?

Im wondering, if i dont deal with the hassle of sending them photocopies of my drivers liscense and my credit card, and they keep the account frozen.....

I had $7K in there and my account frozen

It was indeed a bit of a hassle to get it all fixed again

And I agree they have at least one cocky guy over there, a higher-up, in the 3rd escalation row I think. The last one you can actually get one the phone instantly if you insist enough

However take this: They could have taken my $7000. No way I'd start an intercontinental law suit over $7000. They had to know this. They did not take my money though, and obviously never intended to do so. They were truly concerned it seems and they didn't just try to pull some stupid stunt on me

These account frozen messages can be a real shocker but I recommend you stay calm and simply provide what they demand.

I definately recommend Epassporte. I push a lot of money through them and everything is running smoothly. Except that one incident, which has been cleared in the end.

Actually I feel even safer now than before my account was frozen.

Also don't forget Epassporte is the only viable option now. Payapl does not only not allow adult at all, on top of that they are notorious account freezers.

Another thing I found to be relieving: They seem to run a relatively well sized operation. When I dealt with the frozen account I talked to at least 3-4 different people on the phone.

Again: I have my account for about a year, I use epassporte a LOT, and with HIGH amounts, and I am an almost non-english speaking, non-US resident so it would be rather easy to fuck with me but they had their chance and didn't.

I RECOMMEND EPASSPORTE - definately get an account, you'll love it. The ATM cards works everywhere, tried in 2 diff. countires and 2 diff. islands and 100% success. Also if you check visa's ATM locator (google for it) you'll see those ATM's are EVERYWHERE.

And if you feel unsecure simply pull your cash frequently

I know several other people who have also had accounts locked and money seized by epassporte.

Basically epassporte has crappy service , crappy customer support , and is obviously engaged in the same sort of ("THEFT") that paypal was associated with.

If you have money in your epassporte account , i suggest removing it before epassporte removes it for several months for you.

Imagine the buying power you could have by "seizing" every tenth account for a month or two.

Bank's make millions doing it for a day. Epassporte must be making a killing

My account also has been froze now for 2 weeks they keep giving me the run around,they are highly unorganised I tell you that .after 5 phone calls a few emails and a few chats on messenger I give up.they still give me no answer why and I havent done anything fraudelent.

Having read the horror threads on this since they started I think there lies the pattern.

I have yet to find a big player being termed but it always seem to be little guys.

Come to think of it there were quite a few affiliate scams in the past that did this: Pay the big shots(To have a following on the boards ) and rape the little fish and pocket some more cash.

Ya have to keep in mind that there are way more little guys then big players.

It depends on the reason for the freeze as to what will happen with the funds.

If the funds were frozen b/c they are determined to come from a fraudulent source, the transaction will be reversed.

If the funds were frozen for a reason other than fraud the funds will remain in the account until ID docs are received.

If the funds in an account are determined to be fraudulent, then they don't belong to the account holder. They don't belong to Risk either. Unfortunately, the account holder will have to find another way to pay his bills.

99.9% of the time, the accounts we block for fraud are actually fraud.
