    Disney World...

    Hey guys, me and my man are trying to plan a trip to Disney World for July (peak season maybe??) Either way, I thought it was less that I was quoted......5 days/nights at Resort with Hopper Pass for the both of us was $2k. (Includes airfare). I knew it would cost a pretty penny but shit.......anyone go there for less? We DEFIANTLY want the Hopper Pass........

      You can get it for less. Just stay at a hotel off the Disney property for alot less and get the hopper tickets when you get to the park. Check out Hotels.com. You can specify to search by landmark or hotels near the landmark.

                  Or go next Christmas. Thats what we were supposed to do. Well, until my wife got pregnant. Then we decided we didn't want to deal with a 2 month old at DW.

                      Find someone you know in the military to buy the hopper tickets on base. It'll save you nearly 50% on the price of tickets. Went over the summer...
                      trust me.

                      Plus we stayed a hotel across the street (disneyland)

                      We saved a lot of $$$

                      Plus we drove down too....

                          If you are going to disney world.. Florida not land in cali, then there are a few things to keep in mind..

                          First off. The real busy season for them in in the winter.. It is not that cold here and the kids are out of school also.

                          Summer is slower, because it is too damn hot.. In the park it will get above 100 with no breeze. and the ground that you are walking on will top 125+ Sept or october are usually pretty good.

                          Stay at a hotel listed as being at main gate. You can get a nice room for about 65per night and a really nice room for 110per..

                          There us more than enough to do outside the parks as well.. Before you pay for a hopper pass, cehck the price of a year pass..
                          My ex-wife and I went one time, and the hopper was like 265 per person for 5 days. The year pass was 199 per person.

                          who cares if you never use it again. Save the money and buy something nice that you can enjoy for a long time...

                              don't stay in a Disney hotel. I was a Florida specialist travel agent for a while here in the Uk and I have seen people be able to rent a villa (town house..private pool) for less than a week in one of Disney's own resorts.

                              Also, before you go get this book ..it is invaluable and if you follow it you will save you self many hours of standing in line.
