maybe the definition of friend just needs to be redefined or reinforced...
I find a lot of people confuse the term acquiantence with friend...
someone you share a few drinks with, a common interest or two, a few biz ventures, does by NO MEANS make them a 'friend' imo...
takes some loyalty, time, etc to earn that friend badge...people throw the word around all too cheaply these days...
