This is just too specific and detailed for me.

I know the chances are like really small something will happen but if it happens then youre fucked.
Putting your life in danger for a few parties...no thanks.

Unless i hear new info soon that says something else i wont go to Vegas anymore. Too bad i already bought my ticket tho.

they one positive thing to cling onto is that if it is a listed target it is also going to be one of the most heavily gaurded. Whilst everyone watches the named target a smaller city in the midwest blows up.

Man, im far from being afraid normally...i fly anywhere, i travel a lot...the 911 thing never made me fly less or avoid certain places...but you have agree with me that in this case its looking for trouble?

Very simple question, how many acts of terrorism have occured in the US after 9/11? Hrm... unless Im mistaken the tally is 0. And 9/11 itself seems less like terrorism and more like the government doing it itself.

In fact, besides that, the only thing that comes to mind is the first bombing of the world-trade center which was many years ago, and Oklahoma city, which isn't a large city target, and was actually carried out by an American.

So let's see here, terrorism in the US? Right..

Don't feel bad because you fear for your life. It's smart to take precautions. If you don't feel like taking the chance... then don't. If you want to go and you feel it's worth the risk... then go. I don't care who calls me a pussy or whatever, if I think something is too dangerous, I won't do it. Of course, I have kids to live for, but everyone has their reasons for the things they do.

I still fly the same number of days per week with or without an alert. I flew out of LA on Monday, Phoenix on Tuesday and will fly back to Phoenix on Friday. I'll most likely be in LA on New Years Eve, so theres another flight. Vegas is a breeze.

Statistics. I stand a better chance of being killed in my car when I drive to the grocery store in a few minutes to pick up last minute Christmas items than getting killed in a terrorist attack in Vegas. And I'd MUCH rather risk going to Vegas than to the grocery store.

There are over 40,000 people killed EVERY YEAR in the US in car accidents. There have been 3000+ killed in terrorists attacks (not including when we kill our own, i.e. Oklahoma) in the 40+ years I've been alive.

Granted, I was never good in math, but the odds of me making it out of Vegas alive look a lot better than the odds of me making it back from the grocery alive.
