Chase is totally correct about the water acting as a diluted drink... gatorade, sugar soda is a better choice if you have to have something. One of the few things I actually enjoyed learning in college chem...haha
I usually fast until at least noon, sweat to burn it out, and then jump back in with both feet and start drinking again. Mimosas are a good start

... sugar from the OJ, a bit of carbonation from the champagne..... that's what I'm usually drinking in my "coffee mug" during the expos lol
