    Gadhafi

    looking at an interview with Gadhafi on CNN Europe.

    The fact that Gadhafi promised to stop research into weapons of mass destruction. How is this reported in the US.
    Please, don't tell me they're trying to make it into a Bush-victory: that Bush's tough talk would have made Gadhafi take this decision.

    If you believe this, well ... oh look Bigfoot

    Gadhafi has been around for 3 decades and he will be around long after the name Bush has faded from our memory (hopefully within a year). The only thing Gadhafi has done and loved to do over the past 30 years is PISS OFF THE US, the bastard loves this.

    So why take this move? Well, it's easy, it's a beautiful piece of political strategy, after paying the victims of the UK plain crash, he now has a clean slate by doing this, bye bye trade embargos. Gadhafi ain't giving up something he has, he just seems to be giving up something.

    Fidel could learn something from Gadhafi

              Last I heard is that they have no plans to lift the trade embargos. If they do, I'll have to give Gadhafi some credit. He seems like a smart guy. I think that he was thinking that the trade embargos would be lifted, but I don't think it will happen.
