true, they did sell each other into slavery.

One thing I wonder is why blacks hate whites so much when it comes to slavery. Its the jews who owned the slave ships and made the big money on the slave trade.

All whitey was doing was buying cheap help, just as todays corporations are doing the same thing with india and mexicans.

If we go down the reparations path, why not also ask modern day Germans to make reparations to the Italians to compensate for what the Goths (predecessors of Germans) did to the Romans (predecessors of Italians)? And so on and so forth?

Well...maybe to the majority of the population of that era...that was to poor to own slaves. Only a small percentage of whites...and a far smaller percentage of blacks owned slaves...as the majority of the population was to poor to own slaves and in a certain sense where pretty much slaves themselves.

Not just that, dude. That's widely know. However, if you read juicy's blog and the article link in it, US blacks owned black slaves during the pre-Civil War days. Many became rich off it. Some would even "breed" their own slaves by having sex with their female slaves then selling off the kids.

This sordid history just proves that as much as ideology seeks to make the world black and white.... history is just filled with too much quirky multicolor details that you can't reduce it to black and white.

Is there a link to verify this? Didn't Prof. Leonard Jeffries get in all sorts of trouble for saying the same thing but he couldn't prove it?

Hmmmm ignorance? read the blog and check the article link. Definitely a lot of historical info with which to discuss and parse current issues. Ignorance would be not dealing with historical evidence at all and just straight out insult people that raise issues which call into question your core beliefs.
