I find it is mainly due to the fact that in a way they are somehow misled to believe that the service is FREE (meaning naked chat). So then they register and crteate their usernames but never "BUY"
I was thinking that perhaps it would be a good idea to start telling them how much time costs in a more blatant manner perhaps on the free signup page you all implement an addition to the form or notify them to add minutes to their account, perhaps tell them or offer them a deal if they add 25$ bucks to their account at that time. Just something that changes their thinking that this shit is free. I think that is one of the problems that holds most of us back from making more $ignups.
Maybe we can get something like this implemented soon or in the near future?
what are your thoughts on this guys?

i think that we have done just that. if you go to the free sign up page and fill out the short form, it takes you to a second page that you can buy credits at that time... take a look and tell me what you think
