If you were looking for a host, would you consider signing up with a host who was a known spammer and ip hijacker?

If you were with a host you found this out about...would you stay with them as long as you had a good deal and no major downtimes?

What Is IP Space Hijacking ?

"Hijacked IP space" are ip blocks that are being used without permission by organizations that have no relation to original organization (or its legal successor) that received the ip block. In essence its stealing of somebody else's ip resources.

I'm not sure if this was a "duh" type question...like it should be assumed that most people wouldn't...or people just don't care so they wont answer.

I'm really curious though to see how many of each there are.

I would be concerned about the host going down.

Now, here's a question. If you WERE with a known ip hijacker and your site was being hosted on a jacked ip...would you get in trouble for hosting there knowing they do this stuff?

Not sure, but if the ip was hijacked and they took it back, maybe take a bit to get things moved around to a new ip.

also if you host on a spam network and the link gets pulled, every one has issues.

So if there was a host like this, who got their link pulled, EVERYONES business would be a lil screwed up?
