People complaining about ARS

This is not my site. Just thought some people might be interested in reading this. I know of others reporting problems with them too but don't know details. Everyone in the E/N crowd started promoting them hoping to get the referral fees from other webmasters that hey had going in April, as well as the big $75 sign ups.

Anyone here have difficulty with them?

I'll be honest, last week my conversions were down from the usual 1:350 or so to about 1:1000, so I'm trying somethign else for awhile

I don't know about you, but everytime I had any questions about ARS, I always called them right here: 1-800-221-6386 and got very good polites, dedicated personel to answer me.

How many sponsors do you know have a 800 number to reach them?

I use ARS and are quite happy.

this link http://www.bonrop.net/fuckars.html looks to me to be a couple of kids being caught cheating and get pissed when they don´t get paid.

ARS may not be the best converters, but they are honest (AFAIK) and they have always paid me.

I know there are people using hitbots on their PPC program to up their clicks. And then they complain when they don't see the cash... They must be coneheads or something

I've had 2 record weeks in a row with ARS.
People were complaining about Ibill scrubbing
the hell outts signups, but you couldn't tell
with my stats.

If cheaters don't put up web pages claiming you screwed them then you aren't doing a good job preventing fraud. End of story.

If all of the real cheaters were to drop dead at once, 99.9% of the complaining about sponsors would end.

I haven't had a conversion with them yet, but at least my clicks are being counted correctly. It really bothers me when a sponsor can't even count clicks. I have been trying, but so far 1,500 clicks and no conversions.

Sponsors that pay everyweek and have a message board can't be too bad in my book

I would like to take the time to thank Jennifer, Laura, Justin and Becky for their time. There was a problem with my check, not only did they fix it, they are sending it to me expeditiously without charge. I raise my hat to you guys, you rock

Now I don't know about you people, who seem to have a long list of sponsors who don't pay you, and it really makes me laugh (Always the sponsors fault hein?). I always got my check for every program I ever was with. Somethimes the checks got delayed or late, but I always got paid. Mistakes can happend and can be fixed with simple phone calls and e-mails.

The more I read on boards about people not getting paid the more I wanna laugh. Espacially since it's so easy to make money. Really, how hard is it to,

1) Signup with a sponsor
2) Get the sponsor content
3) Make a nice gallery
4) Put some sponsors banners link on it
5) Sign up with a free host
6) Use waycool or something similar to submit to allot of people.

All your investement so far equals Zero dollars of operational cost here. You might not make millions, but you will sure make more then clicking yourself on your sponsors everyday to get that 42 cents extra a week...

There seem to be a patern here. Follow the rules to the letter and spirit, Be paid.

Bend the rules on the letter or spirit, Don't get paid.

How hard can this be?

Those guys complaining that they weren't paid by ARS for webmaster referrals are idiots. These are kids that run these stupid E/N type non adult sites bitching about their lame lives. They include a "making $$$" link and they talk about how great ARS is and that people should join.

The thing is every person that joins ARS is another E/N idiot, or a clueless newbie that will produce NO SIGNUPS for ARS!

An easy solution for ARS would be to require each webmaster referred to produce at least a few signups a month, and also to pay referral fees to true productive webmasters.

Like Choker says, sponsors will shave the bottom of the pile and leave the top alone (he has never said anything explicitly about ARS, and chances are no one ever will publically).

Been using ARS for years, god knows how many 3-4? Always paid, always converted amongst the best. A++ on the sacx sponsor scale

Only problem I have with them is what to spend my reward points on
