Untill today, I've always had Pentiums. I got a Athlon XP 2800+ 2.08GHz today. So far, It seems really damn nice... What's your experience with AMD and which do you perfer, Pentium or Amd?

my laptop has a 3200 and my pc has a 2800. I was reffered to amd processors and i think they are pretty damn good

I've got a 2500+ I purchased a year ago. I used an original Athlon 700Mhz before that.
I love AMD processors. They permform very well against Intel and the prices are good too.

I use Athlons as well but their prices aren't really that great anymore.
2 years ago, a top of the line Athlon XP 2200+ went for under $300 whereas the top of the line P4 at the time went for $600. Now the 3800+ and the FX-53 go for like $800.Comment

Have had the 1800+ and now the 2400+. Quality chips overall. But keep them cool. When they over heat they over heat. You wont have anything left if it happens unlike intel chips.█ joesmut (a) gmail Dot com
