I've been living outside of the US for nearly 5 years and I am constantly amazed by what I have learned and continue to learn as time goes by. I'm learning things about my own country's history that I wasn't taught at school.....for example, exactly WHAT the Vietnam War was all about.

For the record, I received an excellent education, was in High School in the mid '90s and had a GPA of 3.8 at graduation. In my estimation (influenced by what I have learned in the last 5 years) I SHOULD know a lot more than I do with the comparably high level of education I received.
