Sleep all day up all night?

Can't seem to swing it back around to being up during the day instead of all night. Anyone have suggestions on how to turn this around?

I found it very easy to get into that pattern.
It's tempting because nobody bothers you at night.

if you wanna switch however, the cure is discipline, time management.. that is, planning what you hope to get done the next day etc.

Also an alarm with no snooze helps

I was able to get back to somewhat normal sleep patterns...waking up around 7 or 8 am and working all day...and then I got sick a bit over a week ago and had a ton of work to complete and since then I got back into that working until 6 or 7 am and sleeping until around noon shit.

Best bet is to stay up all night and the next day, then go to sleep at a normal night time hour.

I'm on the same schedule. I stayed up yesterday for 26 hrs straight to try and swing my schedule back around. I woke up at a more decent time today but ended up falling alseep watching some TV earlier. So now i'm right back where I started.

                  LOL Exactly. Same here.

And when I try that stay up plan I usually end up too tired to concentrate for like a day or two.

The first time you wake up drink alot of coffee. Hopefully that'll keep you from falling asleep.

That is also the best cure for jetlag.

I did a 31 hour flight to Australia and instead of crashing out when I arrived I went to bed at midnight local time.

                            Worked like a charm

My usual "program" was going to bed at 6-8am, sleeping to 14:-15:00, then athoer nap from 17:00 to lets say 22:00. So one night i missed waking up, got to bed at 6pm or something and woke up at 3am. By coinsidence i did this 3 days in a row, and man, i felt great. It turns out i caught all the good sleep from 9pm-12am and was feeling great. Still leaves you allot of "quiet" time from working, plus you can be "alive" throughout the day. I also seem to like the very early moning thrill when others are stating to wakeup ... try it an tell me how you feel after a week...

Its actually pretty simple. Just stay up all night, and force yourself to stay up all day too. Most likely you'll start getting really sleepy around 2 - 4pm, but force yourself to stay up and around 10pm finally let yourself sleep. Set your alarm for 9am so you dont oversleep. That'll give you back a "normal" schedule.

There is a very old saying that an hours sleep before midnight is worth two after midnight.

It just isn't natural to sleep during the day.
Try comparing the quality of sleep 10PM to 6AM versus 10AM to 6PM.
Both are 8 hours but you sleep all day and still feel like crap when you wake up.

                                            Good Night
