Now that I'm out of the adult industry and back in the real world, everything is very strange. I'm not very talkative, and everyone sees me as a self-centered asshole who only cares about money.

I've enrolled in a community college, and I lie about most of the things I talk about (not wanting to reveal that I was a porn webmaster for several years). Some people have caught me in my lies, and won't talk to me.

Being in the adult industry for so long has changed me a lot, and I don't like socializing anymore, and I have a hard time meeting with women.

GET OUT OF THE BIZ WHILE YOU CAN, OR FIND GOD, OR JOIN SOME CLUBS. I spent the past couple of years hanging around my computer all day trying to make money, and now I'm just some isolated loser!

The adult industry didn't make you that way. You made yourself that way. The adult industry is now different than any other business. If you feel you need to hide that your in the adult industry, you should of never of been in it, in the first place. I don't care who knows I'm in the adult industry. I'm happy with the money I make and the lifestyle I live.

It's funny you should mention McDonalds, I was in Safeways the other day with Brad (now from XtremePay), and the chick behind the checkout was hitting on me...I didn't notice, but Brad said he was wondering how long it would take for her to jump the counter for me...

Why is it that people feel the need to "lie," about their involvement in this biz.

#1 It's nobodies fucking business what I do in life period.

If they ask what I do for a living then I tell them simply web design. That is all they need to know. They don't need to know my exact job description, how I spend my time, what sites I am working on.

If they feel the need to delve in deeper and I feel they can handle it I tell them that I would rather not let them know what sites I work on because they are for adult content.

They either get excited and interested or that shuts them the fuck up. If they don't wanna have anything to do with me after whichever way I handle this then fuck them...I don't care.

If you are concerned about people finding out you've worked in porn, or feel that you will have regrets later then you shouldn't be in this biz.

I think that's part of the problem with this biz to begin with. *this is not pointed at you* but there are too many college kids who don't see this as a "real job," and are only doing this for beer money until they get that "real job."

They have no vested interest in seeing that this biz continues which is why some have little interest in learning what true free speech is or feel it's okay to cheat and scam...things that will have definite outcomes on the future of our industry.

But for 37 year old guys like me who will hopefullly do this until I can retire comfortably..whether that's in 1 year or 30 I'm looking at the long term effects and not just the short term results.

Hey I've always been wanting to make more money. Yes I spend most of my hours a day trying to make more money, but I dont care! Hell, MONEY makes the world go around and ye with the most money wins! That's my motto. As for women, find a whore!

But I could tell you one thing, I'm not getting outta of this industry, this industry has shown me more money than any other industry and that's all I care about really! I've never worried about getting married or what not!

I would put my porn experience on a resume if I had to get a job for some reason. I wouldn't say I worked in the adult industry. Just want I did. Programming, marketing, etc..

I can't see myself having to ever get a regular job again, but I don't know my future either. Who knows, the internet might be gone in 5 years and I'm back to working at some dead end job.
