ive got serveral subdomains and the user should get access to all of them without having to type in their usernames and passwords again and again when switching subdomains.

mcmc, I think it can be done throw custom script and access limited by time based on IP address

but i think im gonna do a php script which checks the identity for each and every file and protect it that way. Jeeez! Some more work to to
