Why's that a bad thing? For one, it would be $6,950.00 to buy 1000 domains. For two, that's chicken feed, if I can see a ROI within 2 weeks.
$10,000 a month revenue, and $7,000 or even $10k in domains is going to break his spirits? Domain registrations last for one year
Think of the profit, not as bad as you think.
