Why... she is a pig... tried to watch that show she has with my girlfriend... I could not last two minutes before I got sick to my stomach and had to leave the room. I could not believe she sat through the whole thing...

Wouldn't Visa or the merchant bank put some kind of freeze on the money once they noticed the incredibly huge chargebacks? They might be billing $1.6M a day, but will they ever see that money? or will it get locked down before they can get their hands on it?

Very well said Hooper and I tend to agree with these principles. I knew webmasters who were converting like crazy, making 100+ joins per day. I refused to work with it though, we all know the heat is going to hit within a few weeks and I'm in this for the long run, not to make the quick buck (no pun intended to QB). Too many people think short term profits, its all about long term.

It won't matter! You think he's waiting on a billing company to send his money or something? He has a real merchant account and I'm sure he empties his DAILY deposits as soon as they come in. How many 1.6 millions does a scammer have to get before they don't care if people charge back?

6 months some, but like on our merch. accounts, and with most rules the customer can't usually cb after 180 days, there is some exceptions though..

yep, the customer can't usually cb after 6 months. however, from my experience (ipsp/3rd party) we never actually SEE any cbs appear for at least 6 months from the original date of purchase.

i'm sure there are differences using your own merch accounts though (like you said)...

3rd party billers get so many and have alot more to process then most people.

We only get a few cb's per month on quite a big volume as our fraud / admin people look over every single order very closely.

one exception that hit us 2 months ago was a cb from almost 1 yr. ago. If the customer says to there bank / cc company that they have been trying to resolve an issue with the merchant for months, and it's not working, they can cb..

this customer had over 5 months written back and forth with our support people saying his vibe didn't work. After the first email They gave him an RMA# to return, we shipped him a new one the same day. He never shipped his bad one back, and for the next few months kept emailing saying he didn't get his new one.

We had Fedex signed proof with his name, etc. He told his bank we never responded to him 1 time, fucker. We won in the end with Sig. proof and about 15 emails
