Couple weeks ago I had a virus that AVG wasn't cleaning. So I went back to Norton, and that didn't work either. Finally I gave Mcafee another shot and it nailed 4 infected files on the first scan that the others didn't.Comment

I use AVG now...found and got rid of infected files that Norton didn't and also got rid of the bloat and extra boot time.

I had mcafee security/firewall and it kicked ass (if only I hadn't stoped using it I wouldnt need a new comp) you can trace back any attempt by IP change the ping to whatever you want (within legal limits of course because you wouldn't want to send packets of information too big for thier computer to handle that it kicks them the fuck offline). It logs all the Ip address and displays trace info instantly no more need for netstat or samspade.too lazy to find advertising for this sig spaceComment
