I the article earlier and i called over to Ben Rawlins' office (he's not available right now)..got his email tho, so I sent him email.... the assistant that answered the phone told me that he is not handling this case, the State of Oregon is......ouch... this was a bad move, imo, to have taken on universities...especially in this case..since now the State Government is getting involved.

After going from sub-$2 to $7.50.... a pullback to $5 is to be expected.

I've seen the chart. This is the beginning of the end. Just wait and see, this stock will eventually be traded for pennies and then a bit later it will just go away entirely.

Well, you see, people are starting to see that this is a company that does nothing and does not have a viable business model. They are doomed to failure.

I believe acacia will be around for a long while...and as long as their are fools with money in their pockets, their stock will always be trading.....


Fight the Egress!

Let me explain their business model to you.

1) Find a non specific patent that can fit something widely in use.
2) Approach weak companies with the threat of stopping them trading with a court order.
3) Hope the prospect of spending $100,000+ in cout will be enough to scare people into paying a license fee.
4) Hope no one has the balls or money or organised enough to take you to court.
5) Count the money you made by charging for a BS license, when a judge eventually knocks down your patent.

They made $27 million on the V-Chip patent with this business model, anyone here got a better business model?

The problem could be that at the end the situation with Acacia, is they walk away with millions in profit after they get kicked out of court. The defendants have spent their hard earned cash they cannot recover in costs.

Then another company with another BS patent sees they can also make a profit from us. And the chances of them being stopped in court are reduced, because those willing to fight cannot afford it.
