Not sure where you got the Ephedra stuff from... it is a botanical which was used in some dietary supplements and was pulled nationwide by the FDA back in April, as a health hazard:

In common with other places, products which included it were pulled from the stores in this part of SE KS (about an hour's drive from Tulsa).
EphedRINE exists only in some forms of Ephedra. It appears in various cold medicines, such as the stronger versions of Sudafed, making them popular with the mom-and-pop meth labs in (mainly) rural areas. I'm not sure the regulations are identical, but Kansas has similar laws to Oklahoma, namely that over-the-counter pills containing ephedrine must be kept behind a service counter; quantities that may be purchased are limited; ID is required and and a registry must be signed.
