Why is there so much hate and anger in the gfy and the industry as a whole?

Since I started working on the computer I became a lot more stressed and angry and even I can notice that.
So I though and there is a lot of anger and hate going on in the industry and gfy...can't we all just relax and love?

I think a lot has to do with the fact that most people work 12-18 hr days and don't make diddly shit for money. So they come on boards to post useless BS and crack on people to make them feel like they actually have a purpose...... This is why you don't see many of the "Players" posting very much at all, and when they do they don't post on very many controversial threads. This is just my 2 cents and not directed at any one in particular, (look at your assets) and you will know who you are....

There are way too many stupid mother fuckers who think they are in this biz and have something to say. The problem here is that we can not physically bitch slap these idiots and send them packing.

If all programs would go to an invitation only basis or a trial/probationary period then we could get rid of a lot of these people.

As for GFY...Hell...A lot of the punk kids around here are not even in this biz...They only post because they think they are cool for getting the adults riled up and can get away with it without getting grounded.

As far as GFY, I don't see the hostility that's prevalent here at other boards I read. Sometimes an isolated thing but not the hate and racism bits. I think it may be just the sheer numbers aspect. The general discussion area of this board has over two and a half million threads. Most other adult boards don't even come close. The key is to become proficient at skimming the good stuff from any board you read, whatever that may be for you.

Not me. I think it has to do with the fact that posting and income are no longer related. It used to be that adult business lived and died on the boards. Those times passed years ago.

I post when I have some free time. Otherwise, the function of GFY or other boards for me, business wise, is to locate someone, do due diligence on software, a company or the like, or to find a resource.

I'm not knocking the boards - those things I use them for are invaluable to me. But posting? That's not an absolute necessity, when it comes to the bottom line.

I have been on the computer far too long to really take anything anyone says about me to heart. People tend to lash out far more on the computer than they would in real life simply because they can get away with it.

I have far too many things going on in my life that require my energy to spend that energy getting upset by what is said.
