That would be like trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon. If you want to stop stuff like that from happening, you need to address the reason why these men are doing these things. Uneducated africans are still very superstitious and many still believe in the power of witchdoctors. As you probably know, Africa has a huge problem with AIDS. In Zimbabwe for example, over 50% of the popuplation is HIV+. Anyways. For a long time, witchdocots have spread the idea that having sex with a virgin will cure HIV. So if you'd really want to help in that area, you'd be better off donating money to charities that are trying to educate Africans about the reality of HIV. That will make a real difference.
Anyways, i'd donate to a charity that deals with sexually abused children. There are so many issues involved that people don't even think about unless they actually talk to a victim, and it's easy to understand why it fucks them up for the rest of their lives if they don't get the help they need. They suffer with tremendous feelings of guilt and fear. Hell, most shrinks don't even get into these issues with abused kids.
Also, kids that get help are way less likely to repeat the cycle. It sickens me that someone that was sexually abused by their father might go on to sexually abuse their own chlidren, but it sickens me even more to know that it could have been prevented had the person gotten the help they needed when they were young.26 + 6 = 1Comment

Anyway, if I had mucho bucks, I'd start a charity that helps lower middle class families out..the ones like us that make too much money for public assistance, but even with no car payment or other "unnecessary" expenses, we still struggle to feed our kids. (Yes, I'm new to adult entertainment, lol) When I was separated and pregnant, and, yes, working full-time to take care of the two kids I had already, I made too much money for any help whatsoever. As a taxpayer, I felt like I was the ideal candidate for public assistance: I was working and making a heroic effort at being independent, even while pregnant and headed for divorce, but still had a hard time making ends meet. When I was on leave after having a c-section (point being there was no going back to work early) and I had less than $400 a month income and three children to support (and a deadbeat husband, at that time), I STILL made too much money for any help. I'm still struggling to get myself out of that hole, and it's been a year now. People who are busting their asses to get ahead fall through the cracks sometimes, and I'd like to be the one to fill in the gaps.
