The girl to guy ratios are messed up so you'd have to have pics of the guys in advance and let the ladies choose which guy will be their "other" at the show. They pick their best 5 men after reading their summary of themselves and look at a few pics of each dude. Then you make the match, they find out who they get at the show, or at the dinner.
Girls are pickier so this helps that aspect, and guys are easily satisfied with what they'll end up getting. So give the advantage to the ladies, let them choose their Daddy for the show.
Just have them agree to not flake once they decide to put themselves on the market, no turning back.
Then give me a thank you for a nice workable idea and run with that.
