PS: Nationalnet is the best host I've ever had. And i tried alot of them. -
I choose my hotels based on the availability of a high speed net connection.
Fairmont, Mariott, Hyatt, Four Seasons, and Crowne Plaza are usually a no worries experience.

Stayed at the W NY, The W Times Square, the W San diego, The W Los Angeles The W New Orleans (not in the French Quarter) ... and loved them ALL
Sued the W NY, and got PAID ... an iron fell out of the closet New Years Eve 2003, and I got 5 stitches under my right eye! They gave me a Phat ass suite...the best in the Hotel, and paid for my trip AND settled with me out of court!
Ian Schrager Hotels are the bomb too!!! Staying at the Clift in San Fran for New Years this year!

I got the adjustable (craftmatic style) one with Full 2 zone massage capabilities ... the DOPEST bed EVER!!!

There is a sweet Inn in Del Mar (coastal town North of San Diego) called Le Artiste where each room is decorated in the style of a famous artist. It's affordable and if you bring a chick here, chances are you will get laid.

Stayed at an Ian Schrager in NYC (Paramount I think) and it SUCKED big time. The paint was peeling all over the place, the phone was yellowed like it was 25 years old, and they put random shit on the room bill from the last person that stayed in the room.Originally posted by J$tyle$

The door knob to the bathroom had been painted over, and you couldn't turn it very well. Overall, not a good experience. The lobby and bar were cool though

Stay in a Westin hotel. They have Heavenly beds and Heavenly showers. I've never slept better in my life. Most also have internet access.
I stayed here two weeks ago in Toronto. Beautiful hotel on the waterfront.
