The millionaire rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault, admitting he stabbed Lance "Un" Rivera on December 1, 1999, at a party for rapper Q-Tip at Manhattan's Kit Kat Klub.
Jay-Z, 31, accused Rivera of making and selling counterfeit copies of one of his recordings. The rapper pulled a 5-inch knife and stabbed Rivera at least twice, according to a police account of the attack.
"I stabbed Lance Rivera," Jay-Z mumbled as he pleaded guilty to third-degree assault before Justice Micki Scherer in Manhattan's State Supreme Court.

It's sickening that he only got 3 years probation. Any hear about the new anti-terrorism law they are trying to pass that would lock up anyone that defaces or hacks a web site for 25 years with no chance of parole?
Imagine some 15 year old kid out there hacking the Microsoft site to say "Microsoft Sucks", or something like that, and being put away for 25 years, while other people can go around stabbing people and walk around free.

Probation just means that if you fuck up at all while you are on it you will be in even more trouble then before. All probations are diffrent though.. Depends on what you did to go on it. One of my friends was on probation with county courts then he fucked up and drove on to a miltary base on accident with weed all in his car and there happned to be a drug sniffing dog right there and he got busted by federal.
The thing is that the two diffrent courts dont have anything to do with each other sence one was county and one was federal so the county wont even know about the federal offence and probation.

Naa.. There is no where for him to run now.. He just has to be real good. He actually dosent even smoke weed anymore. He was the biggest pot head I knew and it still weird when Im smokin and he is there. I always acedently keep passing him the pipe forgetting he will just say no.

PROBABTION REALLY SUCKS.
My attorney told me that I cant carry my gun anymore, and if I get arrested for anything, even a simple verbal assault Im in the slammer.
Thats why Im so fucking pissed that Jay J got the same sentance as I did, and the fucker stabbed someone..
All I did was live out a childhood fanatasy and do what we see in every movie, speed and run from the police and I get jail time and 3 years probabtion.

i Just Got Off A 5 Year intensive Probation.. and i can say im a happy mother fucker.. but it haunts me still.. no guns ever, no voting ever, no fucking anything.. my probation officers were assholes and they would come over all hours of the night to fuck with me and try to get me to snap on there pencil dicked selver.. mother fuckers but who could blame them there job pays a total of 17k a year and the have to have a degree in criminal justice or some shit.. i mean who wouldnt be bitter.. mother fuckers.. let this be a sign kids dont fuck up.. because when they catch you they are in fucking control..!!!!!!!!!!!Comment
