The problem is that you, as a tgp owner, are getting false information when you go to Findtrades broker board. Period. Anyone can say anything they want and there is nowhere to refute the posts . I am positive that one of the brokers on that board has posted himself and had alot of his friends post for him and it's almost all bullshit. Anyone can do a search on here about this guy and find out what he is really about. So the board is totally misleading. No proof required on what people have to say and if I just don't like you, I can go put your name and place a false post about you. I thought the concept of FindTrades good. If you find a cheater and have proof you post. It's reviewed... That's one part of it. As a TGP owner, it's appreciated.
As for the Review Trader Brokers, could be worth while service to those of us buying traffic. People get flamed here too. Sleazy called me an idot! Made my day, no longer just a newbie.
Think you should chill and post a response at FindTrades.

Personally I think giving feedback in this situation is worthless without knowing who is posting the feedback. Besides the fact that competitors may intentionally try to slam your business, there is no garauntee that even legitimate clients wont make statements that are completely ludicrious given their experiences. Basically, I would much rather a few opinions where I can look up the source and relations, rather than tons of anonymous useless and impossible to trace comments.
With that being said, and that being understood by the majority of people with a brain, including yourself, why did you help choker develop this system if you knew it was flawed from the outset?
Seems if you were that against it you should have just stayed out of it, in this case you helped him load the gun that eventually shot you, why?

The only 2 posts I refer to, are the first post and mine, beginning about half way down page 1. I saw the flaws in this from the beginning and stated as much. I also saw value in the program, by using it to root out cheaters. In hopes that enough webmasters would post honestly, I took it to every board. I was hoping to get legitimate posts well started.
Several of us have been putting out fires started by scammers for months now, because if one scammer hits, all brokers rhetorically become thieves. I thought maybe, if we could get enough legitimate posts started quickly, we'd have a place to point clients for results.
I counted on dishonest brokers posting, which has happened on a large enough scale thus far. (I'm willing to post what, who and how I know).
I did not count on all of the webmasters, reading the threads I placed, and basically saying, "I bought from broker x and it was pretty good traffic, or OK traffic or shit traffic", whatever, and then not even taking 2 minutes to come post honest feedback.
At least I gave it a shot, the alternative would have been to sit on my thumb, because the page was certainly staying in place regardless.
Now, I'm just fed up. I refuse to have false bullshit information posted about me and my company, and just grin and bear it.

Skimmed through/read the original thread for the site and it seems that the idea of things averaging out was what would make the system work. Its 4AM so I cant really look into it but a few quick points I wanted to mention.
Averages only work if the posters are indeed intelligent and from all of the replies about your traffic there isnt enough information to make even the anonymous posts worth my time whether they be positive or negative.
What prevented a feedback or a credential system being installed.
And if Choker said that there are other reasons for running this besides the obvious, then why not employ a full time reviewer for all users signing up for access and for all posts made. Firstly to make sure to establish business relations and act as a mediator since disagreements will obviously pop up, and secondly to make it more difficult to post, so that only people serious about their business would go through the hassle of finally getting their post displayed.
With no real review system in place it makes it a free for all that won't work on averages since it's too easy to get listed.
Why even if you continue with anonymous posting just simply having someone review the post to make sure its got quality information besides "It sucks" or "It's good" is already start.
And give an option to have the poster contacted by the reviewer incase something smells fishy the reviewer can contact the poster and ask for more information which would then help establish the posts credentials.
Otherwise its a good idea but useless as a service.
A perfect example is that anyone who gives a Chuck Palahniuk book a bad rating without knowing his writing style isnt someone whose opinion Im going to value. If on the other hadn one of his books gets a bad review but I know this is a poster who has read his other books and enjoyed a few, then its worth something, and I can look into and think maybe he did write a bad novel this time.
Without knowing the relation of the buyer and the seller and a bit more history it's useless. Like in your original post, half the battle with buying traffic is knowing what to do with it, so if a guy buys Euro traffic and sends it to US and says it sucks his opinion is worth dick, even if its completely accurate, and even if he made no sales, because meanwhile a person who can manage EU traffic can make a killing.
Looks like having someone in the traffic business running this site should be something that would set off alarm bells, not exactly like extra money cant be made on this for the traffic broker behind it, not to mention its being integrated into an already existing site for that broker.

As a traffic broker myself, I want to make sure that all the scammers and cheaters are exposed as soon as possible.
The concept of the findtrades/brokers system is a good one, but it's flawed in its execution. The comments and ratings should not be made anonymously; that just leads to all sorts of abuses.
