New tgps always make me laugh with their rules...

I am always on the lookout for new sites to submit to and sites that offer partner accounts.

But I cant help laughing a little when you find a brand new tgp that post on gallery request sections and screams after gallery posters to fill up their database...

But still they have the guts to set all kind of funny rules that most big guys have just because they think they need to have them.

Like I am gonna take the time to handmake a gallery for a tgp that will send me 10 hits.

Yeah right. Get a clue..if YOU need the gallery easy up on the rules guys and gals

What does the rest of you gallery submiters think?

most 10hit/day tgps have more rules and require much more stuff than the tgps that are sending the real traffic...

10 hits? Who cares. The thing to keep in mind is if the little guy somehow grows and becomes a big guy, dont feel bad towards him if he tells you where to stick you gallery if gave him grief over the rules in the past.

They've probably copied the rules from various tgp's to make it look like they've got some rules. Then they start moaning because no one submits to them.

I honestly don't think that any of those TGP owners we're talking about here will become big in future, they all gonna fail within the next few months like all those others before them.

I think my rules are ok:

Rules :
1. No pop-ups, consoles, dialers or auto-bookmarking.
2. Do not change the page after it has been submitted for 30 Days.
3. No blind thumbs or banners that look like thumbs
4. No misleading blind links like "Next", "Page 2" etc.
5. We don't accept bannerless free hosts because they redirect traffic.
6. Use correct description, use 30-45 characters.
7. Do not submit the same gallery twice.
8. Minimum of 12 thumbs or 2 movies per page.
9. No pics linking to html pages.
10. Use the same Nick and email address every time or you will get banned.
11. You can submit 3 galleries per day.

The worst part is not so much their rules. The worst is seeing this little 500 hits a day tgp demanding you insert his table recip with 3-4 other "big" tgps. And, his own recip is 300 pixels wide, contains mouseovers and 5 different links.

Totally moronic. I just redesign the recip a bit so it's feasible to use. If I then see galleries are rejected I ban the sucker. Sometimes I feel like wanting to send him a 1000 or more totally crappy galleries so he can spend a week on reviews.

Exactly...I'm getting more traffic through the galleries that I submit through advance submitter than I did running galleries through russian submitter, but I'm about to get back on with Russian submitter and just use their autosubmit...

Why Not? RS still pays for itself in one submission.

I also remember submitting to KDgalleries and getting accepted...Out of the blue, they send me a partner submit pass. I email them back thanking them for the pass and saying that I would use it wisely.

Then a couple weeks later, they start rejecting the SAME type of galleries and then they BAN me and take off the galleries that were already listed.

I emailed them and asked them why and got no response.

I say that if I didn't ask for a pass and you just give me one after accepting my galleries, don't turn around and ban me for no fucking reason..

I also don't understand how you can give a tgp sample galleries to get a partner pass and then you submit those galleries and they reject them...Didn't they have to look at my galleries in the first place to even accept my partner pass?

www.remotethumbs.com allows you to build your own TGP, and save time. while submitting to other TGP's is important, there is no substitute for generating your own traffic to allow yourself more leverage!!!!

this is a must for any newbie

and a real profit margin increase for any experienced TGP operators out there.

I don't know how many imagine that TGP owners review every gallery they receive, rejecting only those which are sub-standard. Some do work that way, but even among the biggest there are several listing less than 100 galleries daily. Too few submissions is not a problem for very long, even for someone running a new or small TGP. And on the most popular TGPs you may have less than a 1:20 chance of being listed.

If you think about it, whether or not a TGP owner tells you the parameters by which he rejects submissions, those parameters exist. He can leave you in the dark and just not list your galleries, or he can tell you what his rules are, so that if you don't like them, you needn't waste your time submitting to that site.

Which is really the best way?

I think if I were to start a new tgp, I'd want 30 or 40 people to submit a list of 100 galleries each or something. Then rotate them in as needed until used up.
Reviewing sucks ass on a daily basis. Best to get a wad all at once from trusted people using decent sponsor sites.
If any redirect, punt the lot of them from that person. Incentive.
