Here's some related comments for you all...
1) Humans and tigers are the ONLY animals that kill for pleasure.
2) This reminds me of a disturbing scene in "The Butterfly Effect", where the kid throws a dog in a bag and burns it. Possible influence, not likely; we've heard of people throwing cats in microwaves since the 80s.
3) Why do people value human life over animal life? People say if it was a baby instead of a cat, there would be huge media outrage. If a wild animal kills a hunter (in defence), it's immediately hunted for revenge. If a hunter kills a wild animal and someone hunts him in revenge, he's in jail for a long, long time.
In many cases, I can state tons of animal species I consider superior to humans. What characteristic do you think humans have that they should be valued more? I say none.
