    Jamaica Questions

    I'm looking for all the info I can get on the Absolute best Hotels/Resorts in Jamiaca. Must be family friendly as this is for a family vacation. I'm not looking for cheap deals, but rather for the best of the best that Jamiaca can offer.

                      I've stayed at the Riu in Negril, which was great. I've also stayed at a Breezes resort in Montego Bay which was great too.

                      If you're going for a family vacation, I would go somewhere in Negril, they seem to have less people trying to get you to buy drugs and shit.

                          Just go through and find the one for Negril, they have kids swimming pools and stuff. Their food is some of the best I've ever had at an all inclusive resort and they have some great bars as well plus a disco for adults.

                                  I lived in Jamaica for 4 years, and I didnt experience what your saying about the drugs... this was about 6 years ago though.

                                          When I was in Montego Bay EVERY SIGNLE person was trying to sell me pot, coke, etc... they even had guys swimming in the ocean coming up to you and trying to sell you shit in the water (this was last year).

                                          When I went to Negril (three years ago) barely anyone offered us drugs, maybe it was the resort we were on though. I know they have a lot of plantations up there.

                                              you were in the resort...when I was in Negril, I stayed in West End...I was offered drugs STARTING from the bus driver at the airport in Montego Bay...bought a huge sack of moist ganja for 20...

                                                  The best family resort in Nigril, Jamaica is Beaches.com
                                                  (not the sandy bay resort). I have been there and also the beaches in Turks & Caicos. They are awsome but they are sold out for this summer.

                                                      Everyone in the resort has something to sell too... I got offered pot on the bus right away too. Jamaican bud sucks, so I don't buy any.
