I would rather have Dampier too.. But this Laker team lost Shaq and added some good players in Grant, Odom and Butler... Vlade doesnt need to score.. just be a presence and pass the ball... I think we are better then we were last year as a teamComment

I think what many of your are missing is this. You are going to have Kobe who now can drive the lane and work his magic with out a 360lb statue standing in his way clogging up the center and making it hard for him to do so cause he has 2 defenders draped on him. Also you have a much more atheletic team with your starting team looking like this Divac, Kobe, Odom, Payton, Malone... With Butler, Rush, Walton, George, and Grant to come off the bench. The Lakers just became a much more solid TEAM, not just a super duo. As well as much deeper. I think many people are going to be surprised to see how well this team does. I know I am excited to watch that is for sure.No OneComment
