    Should we pay out $120 per join?

    And shave and have all kinds of silly requirements and conditions on the join like it seems programs like to do these days.

    It seems that people in this biz still only look at the # after the $. Short term thinking IMO.

      Yeah $120 per signup, only counting those purchasing multiple month joins, minus chargebacks, and only on days that don't end in y.

      Actually better make that $1000 a signup.

                  I know one company, and I will be a good girl and not name names, is offering 110% of the membership fee in their ads, but when you go to thier affiliate page the real meat and potatoes is max 55%, and that's only if you're sendining X amount per day, otherwise your max is 35%. I don't know HOW they are getting away with this?

                      a lot of revshare sponsors use a scalable payout system..although 55% isn't 110%

                                  I would never use them, it just burns me no one calls them on it. If your top tier only pays out 55%, then you shouldn't advertize something unatainable. Like we bonus our webmasters who send us heavy reliable traffic and work really hard for us, but I wouldn't include the bonus checks or the prize value of the give aways when I'm talking about payout structure, because IMO that's bogus advertizing. It's just misleading and gives the rest of us a bad name, like what John is referring to in the start of this thread.
