During that fundraiser thing tonight on TV (to raise money for Hurricane victims), Kayne West & Mike Meyers were talking about New Orleans....well, Kayne West went on & on about how "his people" are down there basically because "the president hates black people" ...he said this on LIVE tv lol

I agree with this completely. Had the bad part of the hurricane hit Florida instead, this would have been taken care of immediately. Now 5 days after the hurricane people are just NOW getting food/water dropped by helicopters. The way this has been handled is absolutely disgusting. There's no doubt in my mind that things would have been different if it were a rich white community.

It didn't appear that Kayne West's comments were deleted or edited for the tape delayed West Coast showing of the hurricane relief special.
All in all it was a good program which hopefully raised a lot of money. Having longtime New Orleans performers on (Harry Connick, Jr., Winton Marseilles, and Aaron Neville) was a great touch, as you could feel their sorrow, and their love for the city and people of New Orleans, in their performances.
