Chat Speak
Has anyone else noticed how "chat speak" is slowly taking over other forms of written communication? You know what I mean... short sentences, abbreviated words, no punctuation or structure, all ended with smilies and LOL's. I have noticed that a lot of people, especially in this biz, are using chat speak in emails, letters and other writings - even "business" documents. I am guilty of using it too, but mostly in ICQ and here. Have you guys noticed it popping up all of the place like I have?

Yes, and it drives me bugbuts!! I'm guilty of the occasional LOL and in an icq conversation I'll say brb if I have to elave for whatever reason.
Otherwise, I speak in plain English. *sigh*
