I don't know the whole story behind Mandy but she knew getting into it that she may only get paid $250 a month and she agreed to that. Chances are profits are not much at the moment but who is to say that they won't be much bigger down the road if the site becomes very popular.
Someone with two degrees (psych and chem) should be able to find employment that would generate enough funds to cover her rent. That is if she was willing to work a day job. She may be under the impression that being a model, all she should need to do to live the good life is a couple days of work per month....in which case she is sadly mistaken.
I would hope that Mandy decides to talk to them personally and perhaps they could explain the business side of things more so she doesn't feel betrayed as she does now. Perhaps if they showed her how much income her site brought in and then the expenses that had to be paid it would help. I had a cash flow issues last Oct and Nov of last year.... fucking sue me. Shit happens.. you regroup and move forward.
Shit.. after what was through.. the fact that I am still here and growing is proof I have strong business skills. Knowing how to recover and doing it when things are tough take a hell of a lot more still then riding the wave everyway.
