True, not to mention the driver plays a role, I hope that Evo is at least a stick, dont tell me you got automatic, the shift times on it will suck big time.

I hate people that spend all their time defending their decision to buy a automatic tranny TT supra or something, claiming its still fast.. sure, with some work it could be quick, but nowhere near as quick as a manual..

Aint no way in hell its fast. SMG its not even fast with BMW and they try to fine tune that shifter up the wazoo. There is a very noticeable lag in shift times. With manual you can just straight burn the clutch a little bit but in the end get quicker shifts. And hey it's not like your driving like that all of the time so it doesnt hurt the car in the long run.

i got a 1997 ford taurus station wagon with tripple turbo rolling on 26's i do about 5.3 seconds in the 1/4
