For sheer extravagance it would have to be a party thrown by King Fahd of Saudi Arabia at his White House-replica home outside Marbella. He and his entourage used to stay there all summer and I read somewhere they spent over $4 million a day. 1996 - Camel Desert Air Rave - Camel Cigarettes spent $1,000,000 on this rave party 30 miles outside of Vegas. they actually flew a plane with people from Germany direct to Vegas - they removed the 1st Class section and put in a dancefloor! best sound and best lighting at any event i've ever been to. the lights were suspended on these cranes 50 feet in the air so it looked like a UFO when you arrived at the party.

2002 - Subliminal Records at Crobar Miami - nothing better than partying with Fatboy Slim in the VIP room while Darren Emerson and Erick Morillo rip it up
